EMP Live is a talented young rap duo born and raised in the Southeast Quadrant of Washington, DC. The twin brothers whose stage names are Split & SIE began rapping for fun as battle rappers early during their high school years. Later they would meet now internationally known rapper Wale and current local legend Southeast Slim who would have a huge influence on them as they begin to take the rap game seriously.

Featured on several songs with Southeast Slim and local ground-breaking rap group EMP they would grab the attention of Hitter Quitter Records; signing their first deal in 2012. They have released their debut mixtape “7 Dayz of Starvation” in mid April 2013.  As they carry on the torch of the original EMP members EMP is LIVE because EMP LIVES.
